« My artwork began with collecting and observing hardened Korean ink, ‘meok’.(墨). While looking at hardened ‘meok’, I think of the existence left behind, unable to keep up with the speed of time. Hardened Korean ink will never be used again, but it is beautiful in itself to me. I want to show people the time and possibility of falling behind through painting them. »
